Let's face it - whether you are in the music industry or not, you are going to run into people that you are going to think you can trust, but you simply cannot. In this blog, we will dive into the facts that I have learned being in this industry so you can know what to do if you run into a similar situation in the near future! These are the top two things to keep in mind when you run into this type of situation.
#1) Always meet the person in-person first and meet them multiple times
It's always a good thing to make sure you get to know a person in-person before you share anything that you do not what anyone to know. Even with this, this can be still hard to put a trust factor in. For someone like me who is learning to not be trustworthy to everyone who you work with right away, you have to know them on a personal level.
#2) Ask them questions
It's always important in addition to meeting in person to ask a lot of questions, when you are asking questions, you are getting to know them. Ask important questions especially if they are wanting to bulid a great partnership!
That's all I have for this week!
